Pest Control in Navsari

Navsari is about 35 km south of our Surat office on NH-48 — close enough that we treat it as part of our home territory rather than an outstation trip. It is also a genuinely different place to work than Surat. Older housing with a lot of timber, a green belt of orchards and farmhouses pressing right up against the town, and coastal humidity that never really lets up. Each of those changes what we find on an inspection.

Old houses, old timber, and what lives in it

Large parts of Navsari — the heritage quarters, the older wadis and bungalow plots — were built with far more structural and decorative timber than a modern Surat flat contains. Roof battens, staircases, door frames, carved detailing and built-in cupboards all give subterranean termites a route upward once they reach the plinth. In these properties the damage is often discovered during a renovation rather than before it, which is the expensive way to find out. If you own an older Navsari house and have never had it inspected, that is the single most useful thing you can do this year.

The orchard belt changes the pest mix

Navsari sits in the middle of a mango, chikoo and sugarcane belt, and buildings on the edge of that belt carry a different pest load from buildings in the middle of town. Rodents move in from surrounding fields when a crop is cut. Farmhouses and weekend homes that stay shut for weeks come back to life with rodents, wasps and stored-product pests already in residence. Godowns and cold storages near Bilimora and Gandevi deal with the same pressure all year.

To be clear about what we do and do not do: we are a structural and urban pest management company. We treat buildings, godowns, compounds and their immediate surroundings. We do not spray crops or orchards — that is agricultural work and it needs a different licence and a different operator.

Coastal humidity is the quiet factor

Moisture is the thing that decides whether a treatment holds. Navsari’s coastal air keeps wall bases, bathroom peripheries and kitchen platforms damp for much of the year, which suits cockroaches and termites and shortens the working life of a poorly applied treatment. Part of our inspection is simply finding where water sits — a leaking trap, a chronically damp wall, a blocked drain — because fixing that often does more than another round of chemical.

What we will and will not promise

We will not promise to permanently remove pests from a building. Nobody can, and anyone who says so is selling you something. What we will do is find where they are getting in, treat it properly with pesticides registered with the Central Insecticides Board & Registration Committee (CIB&RC) under the Insecticides Act, 1968, explain honestly what to expect and how long it should take, and return if they return. We have worked this way since 1998, and it is the reason most of our clients have stayed with us for years instead of one visit.

Pest control in Navsari — common questions

Do you really come to Navsari from Surat?

Yes. Navsari, Jalalpore, Bilimora and Gandevi are part of our regular service area and the drive is under an hour. For a single small job we may club the visit with other work nearby and offer you a specific day rather than same-day attendance.

My house is old and has a lot of woodwork. Is treatment going to damage it?

Post-construction termite treatment involves drilling small holes at the floor-wall junction, injecting chemical, then sealing and finishing them. On heritage or high-finish properties we discuss the drilling pattern with you first and work to keep it out of sight. Tell us before we start if there is any surface you do not want touched.

We only use the farmhouse on weekends. What can we do between visits?

Closed-up properties are a rodent and wasp problem more than anything else. Sealing entry points, keeping stored food out, and a scheduled quarterly visit usually holds it. A one-off treatment on a house that stands empty for weeks will not.

Is monsoon a bad time to treat?

No — it is the season when termite and mosquito activity peaks here, so it is the wrong time to postpone an inspection. We do plan outdoor soil treatment around the rain, because heavy rainfall immediately afterwards can dilute it. Indoor work is unaffected.

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers, no jargon.

Do you serve Navsari from Surat, or is there a local team?

The team travels from Surat. That is a straight answer worth having: it means we schedule Navsari visits on set days rather than promising to be there in an hour. For planned treatment and AMC work it makes no difference. For a genuine emergency, tell us and we will say honestly whether we can reach you the same day.

We have old woodwork and udhai in the wall. Will the treatment damage anything?

Post-construction anti-termite treatment is done by drilling small holes at the floor-wall junction, injecting the chemical and sealing them again. Woodwork is treated separately and much more gently. We walk the house with you first and point out exactly what will be drilled before any machine comes out.

How long does termite treatment last?

A properly done post-construction treatment gives you years of protection, not a permanent state. Soil conditions, plumbing leaks and new construction next door all shorten it. We give you a realistic timeframe for your specific building before the work, and we come back if they come back.

Do you do housing societies, not just individual flats?

Yes, and for societies it usually works out cheaper per flat. We do one combined inspection, quote the committee in writing and schedule the wings over a couple of days so nobody has to take leave.

What happens if the problem is not solved after the first visit?

Then we come back. Most cockroach and bed bug work needs a follow-up by design, because eggs survive the first treatment. That is biology, not a failed visit, and we build the follow-up into the plan rather than billing you again for it.
