Pest Control in Dahej

Dahej is not a town that grew and then got factories. It is an industrial region that was planned from the start. The Gujarat PCPIR spreads over roughly 453 square kilometres beside the Gulf of Khambhat, and on this coast chemical plants, tank farms, the LNG terminal and port jetties sit side by side. Most of the people here work shifts in those units and live in the colonies and villages that serve them. So pest control in Dahej means plants first and homes second, and it has to fit around how an industrial site actually runs.

Why Dahej is different from Ankleshwar or Bharuch

People often group Dahej with Ankleshwar, but the two sites raise different problems. Ankleshwar’s estate is old and dense, and most of its pest pressure comes from decades of built-up drains and neighbouring units. Dahej is newer and more spread out. Large plots sit next to open land, creeks and tidal mudflats, and a lot is still being built. As a result the pests arrive from outside the boundary more than from inside it. Rodents come in from open ground, mosquitoes from water left standing after high tide or rain, and termites from soil that was never treated before the slab went down.

Plants still under construction: treat the soil before the concrete

New units, warehouses and staff housing keep going up across the region. The cheapest time to protect a building from termites (udhai) is before the floor is cast. Once the slab is poured you can no longer treat the soil evenly, and anything done after that means drilling. If you are building in Dahej now, bring us in at the foundation stage. We treat the excavated soil and plinth in line with the Indian Standard for pre-construction anti-termite treatment. For buildings where you want protection you can top up later without drilling, we can also lay a piping (reticulation) system before the flooring goes in.

Rodents: open ground, bulk stores and cable trenches

Around the port, cargo moves through the area in bulk, and plants hold raw material and packing stock in godowns. Canteens produce food waste every day. Rats move in from the open land around all of this. In a plant, the damage that costs money is usually not a rat seen in the canteen. It is gnawed cabling in trenches and cable trays, and fouled stock that has to be written off. We start by walking your perimeter and working out where they get in. Then we place tamper-resistant bait stations along the routes they actually use, and we keep a station map and service record your safety and audit teams can check.

Mosquitoes in the colonies and along the perimeter

With the coast, the creeks and a monsoon that leaves low ground waterlogged, mosquito pressure in Dahej’s labour colonies and staff housing can be heavy after the rains. Fogging alone will not fix this, and we will not sell it as if it does. It knocks down the adults flying that evening and does nothing about the water where the next batch is breeding. What works is finding and treating the breeding water, followed by targeted fogging where it is actually needed. On a chemical site we fit the method to your hazardous-area rules and use only the equipment your safety team clears for each zone.

How we work on Dahej sites

We have done industrial and commercial jobs in Dahej, and our teams travel from our Surat office or come via Bharuch. That shapes how we plan the work:

  • Scheduled visits, not same-hour callouts. We fix service dates in advance, so the team arrives with the right materials and your permit paperwork is ready before they reach the gate.
  • Your permit-to-work system comes first. Gate passes, induction, PPE and work permits are part of the job. We plan time for them.
  • Records you can hand to an auditor. Service reports, chemical details and bait-station maps come as standard on contract work.
  • Registered chemicals only. Every pesticide we use is registered with the Central Insecticides Board & Registration Committee (CIB&RC) under the Insecticides Act, 1968.

What we will and will not promise

No honest company can promise to keep pests off a site with open land on three sides and a creek on the fourth. We won’t make that promise. We find where the problem is coming from, treat it with the right method for your site, tell you plainly what to expect and how long it will take, and come back if it returns. We have worked this way since 1998, which is why most of our industrial clients stay with us on annual contracts rather than booking a single visit.

Pest control in Dahej: common questions

Do you actually come to Dahej, or only Surat?

We come to Dahej. We have done jobs there, and our teams travel from Surat or come via Bharuch. Because it is a planned trip, we book visits in advance rather than offering same-hour emergency callouts, and we tell you that honestly at the start.

Our plant is still being built. When should we call you?

Before the floor slab is cast. Anti-termite treatment of the soil is easiest and most effective at the foundation and plinth stage. Doing it after construction means drilling through finished floors.

Can you work inside a hazardous or restricted area?

Yes, within your site’s rules. We follow your permit-to-work and induction process. Where a zone restricts certain equipment or methods, we use the alternatives your safety team approves, such as bait stations and gels in place of spraying.

Do you treat staff colonies and homes in Dahej as well?

Yes. We treat colonies, hostels and canteens as part of a plant contract. Individual homes can be covered when we are already scheduled in the area, so ask and we will tell you the next available date.

How do we start?

Call or email us with your site location and what you are seeing. We will arrange a site visit, walk the premises with your team and give you a written treatment plan and quotation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers, no jargon.

Which parts of Dahej do you cover?

The PCPIR and SEZ industrial areas, GIDC Dahej units, port-side godowns, and the staff colonies and villages around them. Tell us your site location when you call and we will confirm the visit date.

Do you offer annual contracts (AMC) for plants in Dahej?

Yes. Most of our industrial work runs on annual contracts, with a fixed service schedule, a service report after every visit and a bait-station map for your audit file.

Is fogging safe near chemical storage areas?

Not everywhere, and we will not pretend otherwise. In restricted zones we follow your safety team's rules and switch to bait stations, gels and targeted treatment where fogging is not allowed.

Will your treatment affect our products or process?

We plan the treatment around your process areas with your team, use only CIB&RC-registered products, and keep chemicals away from product-contact surfaces.

How soon can you visit?

Dahej is a planned trip from Surat or via Bharuch, so we give you a firm date when you call and keep to it, rather than promising a same-hour callout.
